The Guelta d’Archei is probably the most famous guelta in the Sahara. It is located in the Ennedi Plateau, in north-eastern Chad, south-east of the town of Fada. The Guelta d’Archei is inhabited by several kinds of animals, most notably the Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus Laurenti).

Bora-Bora est une des îles Sous-le-Vent de l'archipel de la Société en Polynésie française. Elle est située à environ 260 km au nord-ouest de la capitale Papeete. La vraie orthographe de son nom est Pora Pora (première née en tahitien)1. On l'appelle aussi Mai te pora (créée par les dieux). Elle abrite l'aéroport de Bora Bora.
